Gardening can be done both indoors and outdoors. Now, before you start thinking that indoor gardening is out of your league, consider this, the only real difference between indoor gardening and outdoor gardening is that the other gets the benefit of natural sunlight while the other needs artificial light. Other than that, the basic ideas of gardening are more or less the same. Whether you are doing indoor gardening or outdoor gardening, you will use more or less the same garden tools.

Setting up your indoor garden can be a bit tricky especially if you have limited space inside your home. To make sure that your garden will not take up so much space inside your home, use plants that do not really grow big. You should also design your garden in such a way that it will blend perfectly into the general set-up of your home. You may use computer software to run simulations of indoor garden designs in your home to find out which design works best for you.
